Dr Lynn Bussey
Dr Lynn Bussey grew up in St John's, Newfoundland. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2002. She completed her medical training in Queen's University 2005 with a third year in Women's Health and started practicing Family Medicine in 2005.

Dr Bussey’s medical interests include health of families, collaborative care, system improvement, and Family Medicine advocacy. She started teaching medical students in 2009. Dr Bussey is married with 3 active boys and is a proud "hockey mom".

Dr Chinelo Iwegbu
Dr. Chinelo Iwegbu, MBBS, MRCGP, CCFP, has over two decades of experience as a medical doctor specialising in Family Medicine in the UK. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, she earned her medical degree from the prestigious University of Ibadan, a testament to her dedication and expertise. She was a Physician Liaison for the Alzheimer Society of Canada guidelines committee project and a dedicated advocate for health empowerment and promotion.

Her YouTube channel, Talk with Doctor Agnes, and blog (https://talkwithagnes.com/) testify to this, and her strong commitment to health empowerment motivates many. Dr. Chinelo Iwegbu is a published author of Michael's Memories, a book written about her lived experience with her father's dementia from a dual perspective of a physician and caregiver. She is a practicing, fully licensed Family Medicine Physician in Nova Scotia, Canada, where she resides with her family.

Dr Green grew up in Halifax. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2019. She completed her medical training in 2023 and started practicing Family Medicine in 2023. Dr Green’s medical interests include Family Medicine Obstetrics. She started teaching medical students in 2024.  

Dr Anita Hernandez

Dr Kathleen Horrey
Dr Horrey grew up in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from University of Calgary (medical school), Dalhousie (residency)in 1999. She completed er medical training in 2001 and started practicing Family Medicine in 2001.

Dr Horrey’s medical interests include comprehensive family practice including procedures, home visits, and end-of-life care. She started teaching medical students in 2001. Dr Horrey is married with two teen daughters, a dog, and a cat.

Dr Mandi Irwin

Dr Jennie Leverman
Dr Leverman grew up in Amherst, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Acadia, Dalhousie (Undergrad Medicine), Queens (Family Medicine), and Dalhousie (CAC Emergency Medicine). She completed her medical training in 2004 and started practicing Family Medicine in 2009. Dr Leverman’s medical interest include medical education, acute care, and simulation.

She started teaching medical students in 2005. Dr Leverman loves spending time with her family doing anything outdoors. She particularly enjoys running, swimming, paddleboarding, and time at the cottage.  She loves many aspects of Family Medicine and teaching Family Medicine, and she does enjoy facilitating and playing the odd patient in simulation.

Dr Anna Neumann
Dr Anna Neumann grew up in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She graduated from the Medical University of Warsawin 2005. She completed her medical training at Dalhousie in 2008. She has had a varied career; she worked as a hospitalist, throughout the province doing rural Emergency Medicine, primary care obstetrics, and new-born care at the IWK, and academic family medicine with Dalhousie since graduating.

Dr Neumann’s medical interests include Women's health, newborn care, Obstetrics, office-based procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertions. Dr Neumann is a proud Military wife to husband, George, and resides in Bedford with their two son's Michael and Theodore. She is an avid skier, swimmer, SCUBA diver, and sailor. She also speaks fluent Polish.

Dr Tetyana Rogalska
Dr Tetyana Rogalska grew up in Toronto, Ontario. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction followed by her Masters of Science in Cell and Systems Biology from the University of Toronto. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Queen's University in 2016 and completed her Doctor of Medicine - 2016. She completed her medical training in 2018 and started practicing Family Medicine the same year. She has practiced in Ottawa, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Dr Rogalska’s medical interests include comprehensive family medicine, dermatology, and quality improvement. She started teaching medical students in 2018. She studied French Language and Literature at Sorbonne University in Paris, France. She completed research in Wound Healing and Tissue Engineering at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, and holds a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Dr Katherine (Kath) Stringer
Dr Stringer grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1994. She completed an enhanced skills diplomas in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Obstetrics as well as clinical training time in Emergency Medicine, and started practicing Family Medicine in 1998. She has practiced in South Africa, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia.

Dr Stringer’s medical interests include comprehensive family medicine with a special interest clinically in the primary care of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She started teaching medical students in 1994. Dr Stringer and her husband immigrated to Canada in 2002 with their 2 daughters and now are proud to call Atlantic Canada home.
